International (ITLS) Trauma Life Support

The ITLS basic/advanced course covers the skills other necessaryfor rapid assessment, resuscitation, stabalization and transportation of trauma patients using as it's core, the ITLS basic course. This 16-hour course emphasizes evaluation steps, sequencing and techniques for resuscitation and packaging a patient. Hands-on stations include:

• Basic and Advanced Airway
• Chest decompression & F;uid Resuscitation
• Spinal Restriction/Rapid Extrication
• Short Back Board
• Helmet Management
• Log Roll and Long Back Board
• Traction Splints
• Patient Assessment and Management

Renewals are allowed on the second day of class, they are on a limited first come first serve basis.
